Amazon files patent to offer payment with a selfie:<\/strong> Hazel Sheffield<\/a> at The Independent<\/a> reports that according to a patent application spotted by Re\/code, Amazon wants you to start paying for goods with a selfie. The payment method requires\u00a0buyers to send two photos: one selfie and one in which they blink, smile or tilt their head to confirm that they are real and not a picture.\u00a0Amazon already has a patent for technology to authenticate a person’s identity using photo or video, but not necessarily to complete a transaction. Amazon China now sells 10 million imported products:<\/strong> Dan Wilson<\/a> at Tamebay<\/a> reports that Amazon China now boasts an impressive import inventory, with over two million items added since February 2016. and the number of overseas products available in China is only set to grow. Amazon and eBay to be held liable for VAT fraud by sellers:<\/strong> Simon Bowers<\/a> at The Guardian<\/a> reports that Amazon and eBay are to be held liable, in some cases, for VAT fraud committed by a growing number\u00a0of overseas sellers using their marketplaces.
