The Wall Street Journal<\/a>, the ecommerce giant is developing an app where members of the public pick up parcels from retail location and then deliver them to the customer in exchange for payment.<\/p>\nThe app could be called, On My Way, and aims to cut costs and improve the customer experience.<\/strong><\/p>\nThe service is likely to be made available to customers in the US initially and no\u00a0fee structure for On My Way has yet to be established.<\/p>\n
Amazon hopes to gain\u00a0 more control over the shopping experience and reduce shipping costs, which grew 31 per cent last year, the newspaper said.<\/p>\n
