If buyers keep telling you there\u2019s something wrong or defective with what you\u2019re selling, you\u2019re going to get a reputation as a merchant who carries shoddy items.<\/p>\n

Last But Not Least, It\u2019s Customer Service Above All Else<\/h2>\n

Here\u2019s a bit of a trick question: at what point is customer service most important \u2014 while you\u2019re dealing with the customer, or after you\u2019ve sold them the product?<\/p>\n

The answer is neither, and instead \u201cbefore you have a buyer\u201d. Shoppers will never take a chance on you if they get even one whiff that there are much better sellers available to them offering goods at the same price, as they need to have utmost trust and confidence that you\u2019ll steer them right.<\/p>\n
