Lousy things happen to all of us, but it\u2019s the attitude we view it with and how we choose to handle those moments that really define us.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s an inevitability that you\u2019re going to get negative feedback over the course of your Amazon career, but it doesn\u2019t have to be an inevitability that destroys you. There\u2019s also another way you can subdivide your feedback: product reviews, and seller feedback.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s important to distinguish between the two so you can understand if it\u2019s something you you have to fix, or if it\u2019s something that\u2019s wrong with your products. If it\u2019s the former, then we\u2019ll have blog posts about that but if it\u2019s the latter, then it may be time to evaluate the merchandise you\u2019re carrying. If buyers keep telling you there\u2019s something wrong or defective with what you\u2019re selling, you\u2019re going to get a reputation as a merchant who carries shoddy items.<\/p>\n<h2>Last But Not Least, It\u2019s Customer Service Above All Else<\/h2>\n<p>Here\u2019s a bit of a trick question: at what point is customer service most important \u2014 while you\u2019re dealing with the customer, or after you\u2019ve sold them the product?<\/p>\n<p>The answer is neither, and instead \u201cbefore you have a buyer\u201d. Shoppers will never take a chance on you if they get even one whiff that there are much better sellers available to them offering goods at the same price, as they need to have utmost trust and confidence that you\u2019ll steer them right.<\/p>\n<p>This is why it\u2019s so important to do things like <a title=\"product listing\" href=\"\/?p=3033\">describe your product as it actually<\/a> is (e.g. if you\u2019re listing it as new, then it should have no marks or flaws on it) so your buyers have the most accurate idea possible of what they\u2019re looking at.
