After digging and sorting through everything on Amazon, we\u2019ve uncovered a few tips that will show you how to succeed on Amazon. Read on to find out more.<\/h3>\n<h2>1. Have the Best Darn Keywords Possible<\/h2>\n<p>We\u2019ve <a title=\"Product Search Optimisation on Amazon\" href=\"\/?p=1525\">blogged about this<\/a> many times, but keywords are the first and most important thing you should be looking at. If you\u2019ve ever taken public transit before or used Google Maps, you already understand the importance of each providing you with just the words necessary to get from Point A to Point B. Those two examples know that it\u2019s not only useless to burden you with paragraphs of irrelevant information, and the smartest way is to just give you what you need.<\/p>\n<p>Now, before you think all that\u2019s required is to slap on the same keywords to <em>all<\/em> goods and call it a day, there are some things to keep in mind, particularly when it comes to soft goods versus hard goods.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Soft goods: <\/strong>[Brand name]+[Product Title]+[Material]+[Colour]+[Size]+[Quantity]<\/li>\n<li><strong>Hard goods:<\/strong> [Brand]+[Series]+[Model]+[Product]+([Measurements], [Colour], [Quality])<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Keep to this formula, and you\u2019ll be golden.<\/p>\n<h2>2. Expand Your Keywords into Search Terms<\/h2>\n<p>Once you\u2019ve titled your products, you need to draw a digital map so buyers can arrive at your site and not someone else\u2019s. Because wouldn\u2019t that be the worst, if you put all this time and energy into make your site as awesome as possible but your competitors had better search terms than yours?<\/p>\n<p>The neat thing about Amazon is besides your keywords, you get a bonus five terms that you don\u2019t have to use in the title so use these wisely.
