{"id":1156,"date":"2013-09-05T10:01:12","date_gmt":"2013-09-05T10:01:12","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.repricerexpress.com\/?p=1156"},"modified":"2020-09-24T12:22:27","modified_gmt":"2020-09-24T11:22:27","slug":"amazon-subscriptions-api-bring-new-features-repricing-software","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.repricerexpress.com\/amazon-subscriptions-api-bring-new-features-repricing-software\/","title":{"rendered":"Amazon Subscriptions API To Bring New Features to Repricing Software"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Amazon has just released a new Amazon repricing API they are calling the Subscriptions API.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Developers and Merchants can now subscribe to the \u201cAnyOfferChanged\u201d which Amazon defines as:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cThe AnyOfferChanged notification is sent whenever there is a price change or offer listing change for any of the top 20 offers, by condition (new or used), for an item that you sell. The top 20 offers are determined by the landed price, which is the price plus shipping. If multiple sellers are charging the same landed price, the results will be returned in random order.&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>You will only receive AnyOfferChanged notifications for items for which you have active offers. You cannot subscribe to notifications for items for which you do not have active offers.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>So, what does that mean for merchants? You&#8217;ll receive a file with the top 20 sellers data when any of the top 20 (new or used) changes price\u2014this can then be used to re-price your items.<\/p>\n<h2>Using the Amazon Repricing API<\/h2>\n<p>To use the API, you or your <a href=\"http:\/\/www.repricerexpress.com\/choosing-amazon-repricing-tool\/\">repricing software solution<\/a> will need to be using <a title=\"Amazon SQS Cloud Service\" href=\"http:\/\/aws.amazon.com\/sqs\/pricing\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Amazon SQS Cloud Service<\/a>. The possible advantages for sellers include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Selling all of the prices from top 20 rather than groups.
